10 Nam et cum essemus apud vos, hoc praecipiebamus vobis: Si quis non vult operari, nec manducet.
11 Audimus enim inter vos quosdam ambulare inordinate, nihil operantes sed curiose agentes;
12 his autem, qui eiusmodi sunt, praecipimus et obsecramus in Domino Iesu Christo, ut cum quiete operantes suum panem manducent.
13 Vos autem, fratres, nolite deficere benefacientes.

Do not let anyone have any food if he refuses to do any work.
Now we hear that there are some of you who are living in idleness, doing no work themselves but interfering with everyone else’s.
In the Lord Jesus Christ, we order and call on people of this kind to go on quietly working and earning the food that they eat.
My brothers, never grow tired of doing what is right.
