"Christ Jesus, ... though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form he humbled himself" (Phil 2:5-8). But Jesus Christ did not only renounce his divine rights, but also his rights as a man: the right to a fair trial, the right to respect, the right to personal dignity, the right to property (even his clothes were taken away from him), the right to innocent life....
